Overview
Categories help you group products for faster browsing at POS, cleaner reporting, and easier catalog management as your product list grows.
Step-by-Step Guide
- 1Navigate to Categories from the sidebar
- 2Click Add Category
- 3Enter the category name (e.g., Beverages, Electronics, Services)
- 4Add a description if needed
- 5Save — the category is now available when creating products
- 6Assign products to categories from the Products page
Tips
- Good categories make the Quick Sale search faster for cashiers
- You can filter sales reports by category
