Overview
Set up tax rules that apply to your products at checkout. Define tax names, rates, and which product categories they apply to — Konect handles the calculations automatically.
Step-by-Step Guide
- 1Navigate to Taxes & Config from the sidebar
- 2Click Add Tax
- 3Enter the tax name (e.g., VAT, NHIL, GETFUND)
- 4Set the tax rate as a percentage
- 5Choose whether it applies to all products or specific categories
- 6Enable or disable tax display on receipts
- 7Save
Tips
- Multiple taxes stack — useful for markets with compound tax structures
- Test checkout after adding a new tax to confirm the amount is correct
